If you're one of the very few who are not across the wonder that is Aussie prog-metalcore hybird act Reliqa, disrespectfully uppercut yourself. Twice for good measure.

We've followed this outfit from their first ever show to the release of their ground-breaking debut album Secrets of the Future and to say they only get better with age would be an understatement.

Now, just over a year since that record's release, the band have bounced back BIG TIME with their alluring metal jam 'Your Touch' which not only boasts all of the band's signature soundscapes, but blasts them into outer space with a cinematic storyline guaranteed to get you going 'I thought these were kids from the Central Coast!?'

As frontwoman Monique Pym floats around djent-filled riffs and displays from Brandon Lloyd, the Knox brothers keep the bass and beats in tune as they foursome showcase their progression as musicians, which sounds leagues ahead of their first few releases. Part dancey, part moshpit filler, this track will become a big part of their future shows and prove some of the best sounds come from the underdogs of this heavy music scene.

On the new song, the band shares

"Your Touch is a continuation of a close-to-heart idea we started exploring on Secrets of the Future, about the fear of ambition going too far...

It’s about having tunnel vision, where your sight’s set on a single target so narrowly that one day you realise you’ve left everything you love behind.

The song is full of outer space imagery for that reason - it felt like a fitting metaphor for making bold moves that leave you more isolated than ever."
