Lionheart Drip-Feeding New Album Valley of Death II Weekly Until Release Day

The nature of hardcore is built on the foundations of tight knit communities, colliding in strengths that hit like hammers to drive home the message that we are here to stay. So with Oakland heavyweights Lionheart refusing to stop the show for anyone and resigning with Arising Empire, the band have swung harder than ever to bring the promotion for their upcoming album Valley of Death II by dropping singles each week from announcement to release date!
Having just dropped the title track as release number four, the sequel to their 2019 record Valley of Death brings the truest elements of hardcore to the frontlines whilst “hangin outa four door with a .44”. And boy does the .44 come into play as the final moments of this south of hell beatdown will leave your ears ringing out for more.
Consider yourself in luck if more is what you need as the bands previous singles ‘Bulletproof’ and ‘Roll Call’ will fill all your desires of biting back and impending chaos in the truest form of old school beatdown the scenes foundations echo from. But it wouldn’t be true to the scene to not recruit some friends along the way as ‘Death Grip’ recruits Kevin Skaff (A Day To Remember) to lay down the edge further enhancing the pressure of darkness the band set out to create with the next chapter of their careers.
Being ever determined to make 2026 the year of the Lion(heart), the Californian two-steppers will continue to drop singles from Valley of Death II right up until the album's release on January 9th 2026. The band has promised that this record will be “darker, heavier and more relentless than ever before”.
If the current tracks are anything to go by, we can expect the beginning of 2026 to start on the right foot (and then the left, followed by the right with arms swinging). Let's hope they make their way down under.
