Dance Gavin Dance Are Back, Here's 'Synergy' With Don Broco's Rob Damiani

Dance Gavin Dance have released a new track! Everyone, you can now rejoice. The band have been teasing fans over the past year and a bit with snippets of them in the studio recording vocals and whatnot for what would be DGD's tenth studio album (coming out sometime soon we hope). And so they've finally eased some of the mounting anticipation with 'Synergy'.

Let's also give a round of applause for rhythm guitarist Andrew Wells who finally joined the band as an official member in 2021, making 'Synergy' his first official release with DGD. He was previously a session and touring member only, so props to him!

'Synergy' has a rocky beat and DGD's classic riffs. Can we get enough of those? No, not yet. Jon Mess and Tilian Pearson's vocals are the perfect juxtaposition (as usual of course) and their back and forth is as seamless as ever.

It also features the one and only Rob Damiani from English rock band Don Broco! This is a bit of a "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" type moment because Tillian featured on Don Broco's track 'Action' in 2019. Don't you just love when it all comes full circle?

Anyway, the addition of Rob on this track adds a warmth and another incredible element. Rat King has never looked so good. Watch the music video, you'll get it.
