Aussie scene favs Belle Haven have made a return to your earholes with their latest offering 'it's not that deep'.

Swapping screams and soaring riffs for melodic delivery and an atmospheric rock - combines with frontman David De La Hoz's soothing delivery, you'll be swept up your feet and taken on a journey in the arms of a band that have overcome so much adversity in their time. There's even a cheeky Daniel Marinakis guitar solo thrown in for good measure. As the band gear shift away from heavy themes and sounds, they're honing in on their emo/alt rock side which will catapult the band to new heights and welcome a stack of new listeners in the process.

The song discusses themes surrounding misrepresentation and rejecting the pressures of life (including confirming to other's expectations). David shares more about the track, revealing:

“You don’t have to carry the weight of someone else’s version of you... People will paint you however they need to fit their story, but sometimes that’s all it is. It’s not that deep.”

No one controls your life, but you. remember that. And if this is the anthem you need to get back on track, then blast it loud and proud.
