Aversions Crown Announce New Vocalist and EP with Title Track ‘A Voice From the Outer Dark'

After Tyler Miller headed off to join Thy Art Is Murder, fans of Aversions Crown have been left wondering what's next for the band. Today we have our long awaited answer.
Black Tongue vocalist Alex Teyen is now fronting Aversions Crown - completing the lineup alongside drummer Jayden Mason and guitarists Chris Cougan and Mick Jeffery - and their first collaborative effort comes in the form of the heavy belter ‘A Voice From The Dark’.
My first exposure to Aversions Crown is a bit of a mixed bag. Alex is an impressive and consistent vocalist, and his screams hit well among the blast beats and technical riffs throughout. The punctuating drums and overall rhythm is groovy, and the breakdown properly beats you into submission. However, after multiple listens I am feel like I have yet to ascertain the identity of this band and what makes them stand out in a saturated scene.
Aversions Crown have signalled their return, and it's bone shatteringly heavy. Regardless of my thoughts on this single, I am looking forward to diving into this new chapter when A Voice From The Outer Dark releases on August 5th.
Where do you sit on the new beginnings?
