Alice In Chains Icon Jerry Cantrell Releasing New Solo Album in October

Alice In Chains icon Jerry Cantrell has just released new single ‘Atone’ off his first solo album in almost 2 decades, Brighten and it is absolutely majestic. The acoustic clarity, perfectly harmonised vocals and that low heavy drawling guitar tone that makes ‘Atone’ immediately identifiable as a Jerry Cantrell banger, and after a few listens it stands as one of the best songs he’s knocked out in his long and illustrious solo career.

Not short of friends our Jerry, he’s gone and recruited some of hard rock musics’ finest, most notably Greg Puciato (Dillinger Escape Plan, Killer Be Killed, The Black Queen) and Duff McKagan of Guns 'N Roses. ‘Atone’ is a psychedelic bluesy, almost desert cowboy venture that resonates through you. Puciato’s vocals compliments Cantrell perfectly and you’d swear they’d been trading off of each other for decades.
