Just when you thought it's been while since their 2022 Fury LP, Upon A Burning Body bring out ‘An Insatiable Hunger’, one for those who've missed the gutturals and open notes. For fans of Attila, Emmure and Fit For A King, this song should be stabbed right in the bullseye of your playlist.
It starts with an unusual but welcome start to the song with some Spanish guitar and brass instruments, as if you’re in a Mexican stand-off, before guitars kick in and your gun is drawn. Danny Leal continuously stepping up his vocals with sky tearing highs and ground splitting lows almost as if he’s “choking on poison”. The single is self-deprecating lyrically and is a never ending case of brutal face, listener beware.
If you’ve been keeping an eye on their social media you can see they’ve been busy in the studio, so expect more or your hunger may consume you.
