Despite the song title, this song isn't anywhere near as hard-core as you think it might be. Instead, Trophy Eyes have delivered a heartfelt and reflective track with 'Kill'. It's the band's third single from their upcoming fourth album Suicide and Sunshine which is out on June 23rd through Hopeless Records.

Vocalist John Floreani shares of the new single:

“All’s fair in love and war. We all carry the scars of love lost. They become visible in the things we do, our actions and our words. Like machines we continue, only now worn and rattling. Capable of our primary function, but with a little less grace each time. Some people use love as a weapon, and ‘Kill’ is about those people.”

It's a slower paced track and somehow you can almost feel what hindsight would feel like if the concept were emotional instead of intellectual. The music is incredibly complementary to the vocals and lyrics, allowing them to shine and take the stage. It's a beautiful track and there will be many people on friends' shoulders with their hands in the air swaying when it's played live.
