Aussie deathcore demons To The Grave are getting a lot of heads turning at the moment. The next chapter of the Sydney group's musical career is incoming. In just a month, they're dropping forthcoming album Director’s Cuts due February 24, 2023 via Unique Leader Records. So far, the hellish singles have included ‘Axe of Kindness’ and 'Red Dot Sight' which have both decimated the ears of heavy music fans around the world.
To The Grave have now shared third single where it's less turn of the head and more 'Cut off the Head'. The track interlinks between their classic deathcore chaos with a nu-elements, showing off some of their more contemporary influences. This record is shaping up to really get the band on the map with the big boys; get ready for Director's Cuts.
On the new single, the band comments:
"'Cut Off The Head' is our commentary on the current state of heavy music from our perspectives. Too many people use their “fame” to inflict harm on others, from shitty business practices and bullying within the scene through to taking advantage of and assaulting fans. We’re sick of our art and expression being connected to the actions of these people simply by existing in the same genres. They deserve everything they have coming to them.”
