We're just a month away from throwing down with Gideon with their new record MORE POWER. MORE PAIN. due 17 March via Equal Vision. We are so ready for the brutality, and have been primed with new singles ‘Too Much is Never Enough‘ and title-track 'MORE POWER. MORE PAIN.'
A third track has emerged called 'Take Off', and it starts with the same tornado energy as the other singles mentioned above, but hits with a twist. At the thirty-second mark, Gideon hit the turntables! Yep, they're getting experimental and fuse some old-school hip-hop elements into the mix with this one. No need to stress, the hardcore heaviness remains, but they play around with rap and nu-metal styles, making for one hell of a diverse track.
On the single, the band comment:
"Buckle up —it's pedal to the metal from starting line to finish line on this heavy nü metal/hip-hop-infused track. File under 'Songs to quit your job to.' Soon to be blasted at a drag strip near you. Hold on tight, we're 'bout to 'Take Off.'"
