Portland metalcore favourites Dying Wish are back with some gritty core for your ears with their new single ‘Watch My Promise Die’. The powerhouse band has roused quite a following through their unwavering dedication to not just improving their sound, but for infusing their punk spirit into their blistering music. They continue to impress and this second single off their much-anticipated upcoming album Symptoms of Survival is a teaser for what we can look forward too when the album drops later this year on November 3rd via Sharptone Records.
A band that embodies what hardcore music should be about, Dying Wish have never shied away from their activist stance, standing for true revolution and liberation. This has always been present in their music and as they go from strength to strength with their releases, their message is reaching further and further.
The single is unapologetic. Taking us through various moods and flows. Nasty breakdowns, rousing gang vocal sections and a chorus that will have you ascending. Vocalist Emma Boster has the voice of an angel of vengeance. Snarling through sections, laced with venom then taking us to heaven through the chorus. That final breakdown? Absolutely filthy.
