The Decline On The ‘Verge’ Of New Songs (Sorry...)
Perth punks The Decline are back with a short but sweet new video, 'Verge Collection', featuring guest vocals from Bad Cop/Bad Cop’s Stacey Dee. The new song is the first taste of a three-track single CD available for streaming and download tomorrow. It also coincides with the guys hitting the road for a national tour in July, which includes a spot on the Dead Of Winter Festival in Brisbane on the 13th of July.
The Decline have been a staple of Perth’s punk scene since their formation in 2006, with tour adventures across the UK, Europe and the US. As part of the Pee Records stable, previous releases have included 2015’s Resister along with a split 7” EP with Newcastle outfit Local Resident Failure.
Check out the new video below, and if you’re the physical media type (like me) a limited 300-run of a CD will also be up for pre-order tomorrow. And if you’ve got a hankering for some more local punk, look here for a taste of what’s happening around NSW.
