I Prevail Rolls Out 4th Album Violent Nature Unveiling with New Single 'Rain'

The journey for I Prevail to get to today's new album unveiling hasn't been an easy one.
Firstly, when they released the title track 'Violent Nature' back in May, it came with a wave of emotion from their entire fanbase who were blindsided by the announcement of former singer Brian Burkheiser's unexpected departure. Many thought the band would continue down a much heavier path forgetting about the melodic side of their music which made them a household name in the metalcore scene. However when they showcased Eric Vanlerberghe's cleans on second single 'Into Hell', a seismic shift could be felt and many of us acknowledged Eric's efforts in stepping up to make sure that signature sound continued with him tackling double duties with his vocal arrangements - alongside backup vocals from guitarist Dylan Bowman.
Now, with the release of third single 'Rain', the bigger picture has once again been painted as both of their heavy and melodic styles are showcased within this uptempo jam, that'll please both sides of the fanbase. With soaring riffs, action-packed blastbeats and drum-fills - complimented by Eric's soooooothing as hell singing, we're reminded of the sheer talent within I Prevail and despite losing a key figure in their evolution, they're not forgetting where they came from any time soon.
And let me tell you, when that breakdown hits - all bets are off.
I Prevail's fourth album is shaping up to be one of their best yet and so far we've only heard the middle section of the record... What else do the Detroit metalcore maestros have in store for us?
Well, you'll just have to keep following with each release, won't you! Violent Nature is out September 19th via Fearless Records.
