Guns 'N Roses Debut Two New Songs 'Nothin' and ‘Atlas’

Guns N’ Roses have released two new songs overnight ‘Nothin’ and ‘Atlas’, their first new music win two years. Despite just being released, it’s anyone's guess as to how old these tracks actually are, given that they’re by-products of the long and arduous sessions of the album that eventually saw the light of day back in 2008.
Like any new GNR music, both songs are well worth checking out but will inevitably serve as an invite to the naysayers of the internet to write stupid shit like “they should just give up”, ‘it was better when Izzy Stradlin was on board” and “bring back Steven Adler”.
‘Nothin’ kicks off with a boppy keyboard melody intro that sounds like it could serve as an intro to an 80’s family sitcom, but quickly builds to a rocking power ballad with a majestic ripping solo from Slash. The very guitar driven ‘Atlas’ launches in more signature GNR fashion with Slash and Duff kicking this banger off. It inevitably builds to a beaut Slash solo, while lacking the adrenaline of mainstays like ‘You Could Be Mine’ and ‘Paradise City’, it is a nice mid tempo addition to the GNR arsenal.
Both track will likely feature on Gunners setlist on their upcoming 2026 world tour that isn’t coming to Australia (yet).
To the completist GNR collectors, ‘Nothin’ and ‘Atlas’ will be released on 7” vinyl, with pre-orders available on December 12. A Guns N’ Roses store exclusive cassette will also be up for grabs as well as a Japan exclusive SHM-CD.
