Over the weekend a new contender has emerged called Converge Festival which boasts it is - An all new Multi-State Alternative Music Day Festival Experience in Melbourne (Naarm) + Brisbane (Meanjin).
The festival will be a new cultural experience for heavy music fans, combining live music & alternative culture for an immersive experience. CONVERGE FESTIVAL fills a gap in the market by providing an affordable and exciting mini festival featuring local talent alongside installations from fashion brands, DJ’s & tattoo artists.
Hellbent on finding more out about it, we approached organisers to get some intel on what to expect - and they replied!
What's the vibe going to be like for those interested to come?
We are going old school with this. Massive festivals are awesome, but what happened to localised events with a bunch of fun activities to go along with the best alternative music around?
Converge Festival is about CULTURE, celebrating the alternative and creating a space unlike any other.
Expect something different, because this is going to BE DIFFERENT!
Any clues for the lineup?
