Well now, who could've predicted this year's antics? It's been another full on year, and I still don't know how I manage full time work and doing Wall of Sound stuff on the side, but I've loved every minute of this year and made some really cool content.
I think it's easy to forget all the cool things you do each year, and little achievements and goals you hit. So taking some time to reflect and write this out is awesome. It takes a damn long time! But it's nice.

BEST GIG YOU CAUGHT THIS YEAR?
Australian: I saw Void of Vision on their tour earlier in the year and it was an incredible show. The lights were awesome, their stage presence was super commanding, sound was incredible, and fashun was impressive too.
International: I Prevail's headline show at The Fortitude Music Hall was incredible. I've wanted to see them for years, and when they did come back I was there! I even had the chance to interview them backstage and ducked into the photo pit to get some sweet content. And their supports were Windwaker and Motionless In White, so that was stacked.

FAVOURITE CONTRIBUTION YOU PRODUCED?
My absolute favourite? How can I not say Wall of Sound TV. Browny and I had talked about this project literally from the second half of 2021, so it took us over a year to sort ourselves out and gather all the content. Shooting the pieces to camera was super fun (I can't wait to see those bloopers) and to see it all put together in three episodes is just so cool. So I hope you've watched it!

I'd probably have to say GhostSeeker. Their track 'Mirrors Aren't Kind' has become a staple in my gym playlist, and they released a couple more singles this year too. Really cool unclean vocals and soaring cleans, check them out.

NEXT BIG AUSSIE ACT TO WATCH IN 2023
I reckon we should all be keeping an eye on alt. next year. They signed with Resist Records and SharpTone Records recently, and every song they've dropped is a damn hit. They're also from Adelaide, and I'll always be an Adelaide girl at heart. So yeah! Get on the alt. train for 2023!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2023
Well, the Educate Ebony podcast will be back next year (the genre will be Rock FYI) and I'm really hoping next year is the year I'll be able to interview Dave Grohl. I don't know what I'll do if that happens because how can life get better than that? But otherwise, I think Wall of Sound TV has so much potential, and I'd really love to get more comfortable on camera.
