2018 was an amazing year for me as a photographer from being able to shoot the first ever Download Festival and being invited by Sabaton’s management to shoot them in Sydney was a great way to start.

From there it just grew into a brilliant year not just in music photography but also gaining accreditation to cover something different to test my skills, the A-League season. From Papa Roach, Steel Panther, Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley to finishing off the year with one of my Aussie favourites The Screaming Jets it’s been a hell of a ride.

Cheers for having this “Grey Nomad” cover so many amazing events this year. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement as well as feedback through the year. Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all see you in the photo pit at a gig sometime soon - MickG
