We're still reeling from The Acacia Strain's album announcement for Step Into the Light due May 12 via Rise Records. Judging by singles 'Untended Graves' and ‘Fresh Bones‘, the five-piece are ready to blow our proverbial minds.
Well, that's not all folks. Overnight, the heavyweights announced a second record titled Failure Will Follow, out on the same day as their aforementioned release; the difference being that this second record will only be three-tracks long. Judging by some track-lengths of their past, we imagine they are releasing long enough songs to exceed the reference of an EP.
The 3-track will include guests Dylan Walker, iRiS.exe and Ethan McCarthy. As part of the announcement, The Acacia Strain have shared a 57-second preview of third track 'Basin Of Vows' which you can check out below. With an ominous calm and a provocative visualiser on mortality, it definitely will have you clenching your jaw with curiosity.
Vocalist Vincent Bennet cryptically comments:
"This is a split timeline. Which side of the coin did you end up on?"
