What better way to commence Halloween celebrations than with the first trailer for the forthcoming seventh instalment of the Scream franchise - and it looks like it's well worth the wait kids.
Bringing back the final girl force of nature Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) to take on a Ghostface with crueller intentions than before, the masked murderer takes aim at Sid's daughter Tatum (Isabel May) in their quite new home away from the horrific events of Woodsboro and New York as last seen in SCREAM VI.
The synopsis reads:
When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
With a new list of suspects and potential corpses ready for the slayings, we'll be questioning who's behind the mask and how many of Sidney's friends and family will they cut through before they're caught?
Scream 7 hits Australian cinemas on February 27, 2026 via Paramount Pictures.
