In a true indication that Live Music is being supported in Australia and especially in Melbourne, the newly announced Good Things Festival announced that their Melbourne venue has been upgraded to accommodate the influx of heavy/alternative music who were keen to attend the first of many events.

Promoter Chris O'Brien announced the news stating he was impressed with the amount of attendees purchasing tickets:

It was apparent the first day we went on sale that tickets for the Melbourne show were flying out the gate. With so many bucket list moments on the Festival we simply had to make the decision to move to a larger venue to accommodate everyone. The Offspring will never perform ‘Smash’ plus a greatest hits set again in Australia so to not allow fans that opportunity along with getting to witness BABYMETAL’s incredible live show with full production for the first time was simply not an option.”

The festival will now take place at Flemington Racecourse, the same place Download Festival was held earlier this year, it's not known how much of the venue will be used, but now more people will be able to get through the gates and once again, make history, by attending this fresh AF live music event which will kickstart Australia's new festival season, hopefully spanning to other states in future years.
