That one man band from the darkest depths of Tasmania is back!
The last time we heard from Fierce Deity was February 2022 with the single 'A Dragon, Gold', and honestly it feels like eons ago. But fear not, because today 'LEViARACH' is unleashed upon the heavy music-loving world. Taken from the upcoming album PWC2: A Terrible Fate the fierce one again delves into fantasy and the fantastic.
This one comes with a warning. If you're in any way arachnophobic wandering across the desert sands may not be for you, given there's a giant ancient spider waiting to devour hapless travellers. Musically we find the Deity building on the traditional/power metal of previous releases. But lyrically there's a change in the wind. The video game themes are replaced by a heavy metal fictional universe with tales of heroes, heroics and on this track big fucking spiders. This is a good move by mastermind Jonathon Barwick giving himself free range to explore his creativity without being tied to one gimmick.
