On November 16th and 17th, Brisbane music fans will have the opportunity to check out a plethora of musical acts at Schema Festival which combines a vast array of different musical genres for the local scene to get involved and take part in a small scale music festival which will feature Void of Vision in their first headline show slot in Brisbane since releasing heir new album Hyperdaze. Scene favs like Windwaker and The Brave will also appear at the two-day festival which also caters to the AA crowd.
The first day of the Festival will be held on Saturday the 16th of November at The Valley Drive In and The Brightside. This will be an 18+ only event which will play host to 20 amazing acts spread over the two stages
For the SCHEMA Festival’s second day on Sunday the 17th of November they have partnered with Kids Helpline Official to create a self-contained All Ages event with its own exciting headliner; Windwaker to be held at the zoo. This will take place in the afternoon between 1pm and 5pm before transitioning into an 18+ event for the evening with headliner The Brave taking the stage to end the night and bring the Festival to a close.
To give back to the local crew and potential newcomers, festival co-ordinator Georgia Foster told us they've announced limited offer $25 2 Day Passes or $10 All Ages Passes, revealing:
We acknowledge that the All Ages music scene in Australia has fallen over the last few years due to the lack of venues. We have been able to open up an opportunity to give back an amazing all ages show. In saying that, we would also love to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy an almost ‘old fashion festival’ with a stacked lineup for $25 as we embark and introduce some of Australia’s next incredible groups of performers as well as some of our favourites.

As far as ‘giving back’ we received some generous financial support from BCC and our other sponsors that lowered our overheads and allowed us to pass the savings on to festival attendees in the form of lower ticket prices.
