Tick another day off in rock history. The biggest Aussie export are back at it again, no matter how many grey hairs they (and we) get. You may recall while back, after a multi-day countdown finally finished, AC/DC announced their first world tour since Rock or Bust across 2015 and 2016. The first shows in nearly a decade saw Angus Young and the boys electrify Europe with their latest tunes, and all the classics of course.

Following this, the Aussie legends embarked on a Europe and North America tour, which left us wondering, when's it our turn?

As AC/DC celebrate 50 years since their unforgettable music video for 'It's A Long Way To The Top' in the Melbourne CBD, they have finally announced the Aussie leg of the world tour, presented by TEG VAN EGMOND; setting up their first tour of their home grounds in a decade after a mighty 2009 run. AC/DC will hit stadiums around the country, including a performance at the Supercars 2025 BP Adelaide Grand Final event, which has seen many rock and metal peers over the years.

Also joining the madness will be next generation of pub rock royalty, Amyl & The Sniffers who have taken their infectious approach to punky hard rock around the world, scoring praise for their licks and frontwoman Amy Taylor's unorthodox approach to speaking her mind on important issues plaguing society.

The rock icons released seventeenth album PWRϟUP (with singles like ‘Shot in the Dark‘) in the midst of COVID, and likely had to cancel any touring they had in the books. The 2024 tour has been and will continue to be a special one, as this run was preceded by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose stepping in on vocals, as Brian Johnson wasn’t around due to hearing/health issues in 2016. Additionally, drummer Phil Rudd was sentenced to house arrest back in 2015 due to legal issues. Nonetheless, the boys are thunderstruck and ready to strut across stages down under, albeit without the legendary guitarist Malcolm Young who passed back in 2017.

You may recall a one-off show ACADACA played in October last year at Power Trip Festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California – alongside Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, and Judas Priest. Well, that was just a warm-up ’cause the band are coming to a city near you.
