Things were a little quiet in Pincer+ camp this year, but all that came to an end with the release of their new album Who Are You When No One’s Around which just dropped on December 12th via Greyscale Records.
The Perth-based metalcore outfit are wasting no time in setting up a big year ahead with an appearance on Froth & Fury (Perth) then hitting the road with Zuko up the East Coast in February.

We did not play gigs this year 🙁 Due to lineup changes, we prioritised rebuilding our sound and team. But I’m not complaining that I got to spend a year in silence making music with old friends in our studio compound. Catch us at Froth & Fury Perth in January to hear some new music!

WHAT IS THE CURRENT STATE OF NEW MUSIC?
For mine personally, hopefully released. In general, weird as hell. I might lose my job to AI metalcore musicians and they invent a new celebrity every other week now?

Same as every year. Make noise as loud as I can.

Nope, it’ll be my first time experiencing 2026 too!
