Goldie gang Hammers have put the pedal to the metal in 2025 and ventured far and wide across the country.
Between headline shows, Thrashville Festival appearances, Gold Coast Music Award nominations and plenty of riffage between, the lads are gearing up for their busiest year yet with the release of new album Death Wobbles on January 23rd.

WHICH AUSTRALIAN BAND CAN’T YOU GET ENOUGH OF?
Chasing Ghosts. Their 2025 album Therapy has been on high rotation ever since it dropped, I rate it as a modern Aussie classic. Jimmy Kyle and co smashed it out of the park with this record, it rules!
BEST GIG YOU PLAYED THIS YEAR AND WHY?
Supporting Cog at the Northern in Byron. Final show of the year for us and a rad way to cap off a big year. Cog are my favourite Aussie band and it’s always a treat to support the lads. The Northern is a sick room to play and always a good vibe there.
TELL US ABOUT A CAREER HIGHLIGHT YOU HAD IN 2025
Although our debut album DEATH WOBBLES isn’t officially released until next year, we finished recording it in 2025, so that was a big achievement for the band and myself. We have been working on it for 3 years, so to finally hear it all mixed and mastered and sent off for pressing on vinyl was a huge deal for me.
WHAT IS THE CURRENT STATE OF NEW MUSIC
We have a full-length album dropping on Jan 23 in 2026! The album is called DEATH WOBBLES and it’s 12 tracks of riffy goodness for your earholes. Our guitarist/vocalist Lucas Stone has outdone himself with writing these songs, and we’re all suuuper fucking stoked to get the finished product out into the ether. If you dig bands like Stray From the Path, ETID or Alexisonfire, you might find something you like on Death Wobbles
ANY SNEAK PEEKS OF INBOUND PLANS NEXT YEAR
Releasing our debut album Death Wobbles in January, kicking off our album launch tour in March, and beyond that we’ll be playing as far and as wide as we can to promote the album! Safe to say some more ridiculous music videos as well.
BEST ADVICE GOING INTO 2026
It’s tough times out there for independent music venues and local bands, so I would encourage people to buy tix to local shows and get out and support the shows. Buying pre-sale tickets, buying merch and sharing their music however you can, makes a huge difference and goes a long way to keeping grassroots music alive and kicking. We’re super grateful for anyone that gets behind HAMMERS.
