WHICH AUSTRALIAN BAND' CAN'T YOU GET ENOUGH OF?
AC/DC comes to mind first, but to get away from the obvious answers like AC/DC, INXS, or Midnight Oil, whom I do love, I always love to jam The Living End.
BEST GIG YOU PLAYED THIS YEAR AND WHY?
Warped in Long Beach was insane. For one, it was great to be back at Warped and see a lot of friends, but the crowd was just massive! By far the biggest show of the year for us. Also, it was live-streamed, so my wife and little girls got to watch the whole thing even though the WH couldn’t be there.
TELL US ABOUT A CAREER HIGHLIGHT YOU HAD IN 2025
On our Spring tour celebrating 20 years of Never Take Friendship Personal, we were in Charlotte, NC for a day off and some good friends took us kart racing with some professional race car drivers. That alone was extremely fun, but I did not expect to meet Dale Earnhardt Jr. that day and learn that he is a fan of our band! Meeting someone like Dale Jr. who is literally one of the biggest names in sports and finding out he knows who you are is fairly mind blowing. I grew up watching NASCAR racing with my dad, so being able to send him a picture of me meeting a legend like that was a memory I’ll never forget.
WHAT IS THE CURRENT STATE OF NEW MUSIC?
I feel like rock has been making a comeback in the last few years. Pop really took over there for a few years there. It’s nice to hear guitars and drums make a comeback being that I’m in a rock band.

We’re nearly done with writing a new album, so keep your ear to the ground for new music from us!
BEST ADVICE GOING INTO 2026?
Be kind to one another. There is already enough negativity and evil out there. Be a positive force in this world.
