Zeal & Ardor Reveal Slow Burn Single 'Golden Liar'

Zeal & Ardor may just become your new fav band in 2022 if the singles released from their forthcoming self-titled album are anything to go by!

So far we've been treated to the instant hits 'Erase', 'Bow' and 'Götterdämmerung' all of which boast glorious heaviness and growls-a-plenty, but for single #4, we're slowing things down for 'Golden Liar' - a track full of powerful vocals, pounding drums and stadium rock feels throughout, adding to the intensity of the album's already produced releases.

On the new song, frontman Manuel Gagneux asserts:

"...is one of the tracks on this record I’m most proud of. Unlike singles released previously from the new album, it’s a slow burn. Rather than using harsh tones to convey heaviness, it uses lyrics and atmosphere to convey weight. It’s both smoke and fire."
