Underoath's Aaron Gillespie Teamed Up With EDM Producer REZZ For 'Falling'

It's happening... It's really happening. Over the next few months, we are going to see more and more heavy musicians teaming up with EDM producers and DJs for collaborations. Some of which will be great (looking at you PhaseOne, you mad dog) some of which will be laughable (looking at you Steve Aoki feat. blink-182) and some of which will have you on the fence...

REZZ however, has teamed up with Underoath drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie for a sexy, bass and synth driven track called 'Falling' which is taken from her forthcoming EP Beyond the Senses (out July 24th)and this is one of the tracks which just seems to work.

I think the success that Bring Me The Horizon had with their latest album amo, which quite heavily featured more EDM tracks than metal or metalcore roots is evidence of this growing trend and I'm not saying that BMTH were the band who invented it at all, but they've definitely become frontrunners for this blend/cross-over to gain international success and prove you can be a member of a heavy band and branch out to try something from a completely different genre.

What do you think?
