Travis Barker releases new song with Yelawolf

Back in 2012 Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker showcased his diverse musical range by teaming up with rapper Yelawolf for a one off album titled "Psycho White" which featured Travis' heavy rock drumming beats combined with the southern rap style of Yela. It was a case of two combinations of music blending together and working well. Keep in mind Travis already had experience with this type of style with his other side band The Transplants, but this was his first attempt on his own.

The guys have been busy with other projects and musical endeavours over the past few years (Yelawolf actually featured on Blink-182's "Dogs Eating Dogs EP" on the track "Pretty Little Girl") but that was the last time these guys worked together.

Well fast forward to 2016 where Travis Barker and Yelawolf have just released their first piece of music together since 2012's "Psycho White" and the result has definitely been worth the wait. The song titled "Out of Control" from their forthcoming album once again combines a heavy rock style drumming, complete with a raw rap/hip-hop feel that just works. A great combinations for fans of rock who aren't afraid to admit they're fans of rap too.

The official video for the song was released overnight and it's a combination of viral videos from across the internet BUT you can grab a copy on iTunes right now for less than $2. No word yet on when the album will be released but this should fill the void until that time.

Until next time, rock the fuck out
