The Anti Vinyl Vinyl Club Unveil 7" Split Vinyl Series

Vinyl collectors in Australia have a new venture to splash their hard-earned cash on thanks to a couple of vinyl nutcases who are kicking off a fantastic idea to help upcoming bands get their music released via vinyl! The Anti Vinyl Vinyl Club started out as a group of collectors sharing their collections, mems and more amongst its members and now it's grown into a fully-fledged service for local and international acts and today they've announced the launch of their first 7" Split Series featuring Melb pop punk heroes Drastic Park and New Zealand's hardcore heavyweights Amanaki!
On the news, AVVC founders Jacob Crawley and Michael 'Piky' White revealed:
Having grown a following in the vinyl community throughout 2020, we decided to start looking at ways to support upcoming bands and landed on the idea of doing a series of splits, where we put out a record with a band on each side.

On Amanaki, the guys said:
Amanaki boasts a sound comparable to the heavy-hitting band Counterparts. We’re featuring two tracks, ‘Exit Wounds’ and ‘Home (ft. Chris Lawson’) from their 2019 EP ‘Engrafted’. They are well written, fast-paced and energetic tracks from an incredibly talented group of musicians.

and Drastic Park (who copped a great review by us for their latest Imposter Syndrome EP):
Drastic Park is a 3-piece self-described "Diet Pop Punk" band from Melbourne, consisting of John Stokes, Chris Tannahill and Joe Larwood. We’re featuring ‘Bother Me’ on the release, which was the first song they released as a band all the way back in 2019. The band were even kind enough to offer us an exclusive updated version with re-recorded drums from their recently recruited drummer Joe. With 2 EPs under their belts in 2020 already, they are showing no signs of slowing down and we can’t wait to see what comes next
