Taylor Lumley departs Beartooth

It's almost a case of Déjà vu for Beartooth with the imminent announcement of their new album coming very soon and the departure of a member in the process. Last time it was drummer Brandon Mullins who left shortly before the release of Aggressive in 2016 and now longtime guitarist Taylor Lumley has announced his amicable departure from the band via social media.

The band reciprocated saying

"We wish him love, success, and happiness in his journey - and we know you all will too. Thanks for sticking with us in this transitional period"

It's no secret the creative machine behind the band is frontman Caleb Shomo who writes all the music and lyrics himself while the rest of the band find other obligations when they're not playing on stage together like merch design and show bookings as Shomo told us in an interview he did prior to their last album's release.

Could this have played a part in Taylor's departure like Brendon before him?
