Stand Atlantic Drop New Single 'Drink To Drown'

It's undeniably clear that Stand Atlantic are one of the biggest pop punk acts in the world right now. Since the release of their debut album, Skinny Dipping in 2018, the Sydney four-piece have nonstop been taking their surefire catchy tunes to every corner of the world. After hearing their latest track, 'Shh' last month, which is an infectious hit of punk to your ears, the band are well and truly on their way to world domination.

The new single 'Drink To Drown' is vastly different from previous tracks 'Shh' and 'Hate Me (Sometimes)' though. Piano driven and led by frontwoman Bonnie Fraser's sultry voice, the track is an empowering ballad about one's vulnerability. For the music video, the band asked their fans what they'd be doing with their time in self-isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's a pretty wholesome gesture, and reminds us to make time for our loved ones and/or learn those new skills that we wouldn't normally have time for.

Still no word on the follow up album to Skinny Dipping yet, but seeing as the world is currently in lockdown and they're are unable to continue their touring plans for now, the band have announced that they're taking things into their own hands and will be releasing new music every month during this pandemic. Hell yes to that, I say!!
