Sound Off! To Octavia's New Single 'The Sound of the Rain' is Huge!
They sure have taken their time, but Melbourne alternative/rock outfit To Octavia are back with a new lineup, and they're here with their best track yet. 'The Sound of the Rain' holds onto the anthemic sound we heard from them in 2019's Nocturnal EP, yet takes the band to a whole new level of star-studded metalcore. Vocalist Merry Kirk-Holmes is a voice to be reckoned with, and this track will surely catapult the band to new levels of success.
'The Sound of the Rain' doesn't stray too far from emo/post-hardcore heavy hitters Sleeping With Sirens and Pierce the Veil with its punchy as heck chorus reverberating your senses to another realm. This will absolutely be a delight to the scene not just in Australia but beyond as well.
Alongside this fire drop, To Octavia have announced that their sophomore EP, Somewhere in a World, Not Of A Dream will be released upon us on July 16. If this new single is anything to go by, I'm predicting an EP of the Year contender here. Keeeen!
