Slowly Slowly Just Dropped a Cover of Fall Out Boy's 'Sugar We're Goin' Down'!

To me, Slowly Slowly have always had a hint of emo and pop punk about them and the Aussie rockers have just revealed their take on an iconic song from the early 2000s. The band have taken one of Fall Out Boy's biggest hits, 'Sugar We're Goin' Down' and have reimagined it to fit more of a Slowly Slowly vibe.
Frontman Ben Stewart's vocals in this retake is refreshingly calm and almost soothing to listen to—an element of the band we fell head over heels for on their original track, 'Race Car Blues'. While Stewart is nowhere near Patrick Stump's vocal range (the man is in a league of his own), this absolutely hits differently to the original, and Slowly Slowly have almost made it their own.
And if you loved them covering Fall Out Boy, Slowly Slowly have also taken on The Killers just a few days earlier here
