Set Your Weekend Alight with Can't Swim's Fiery New Record, Change of Plans!

I apologise if I've been living under a rock this week and missed the news that New jersey punk rock outfit Can't Swim released their thumper of a track 'Set the Room Ablaze'. Mistakes happen, life gets in the way (hello new fulltime job), but I'm back and ready to get all up in what will most likely be MY album of the week!

Stomping in with frenetic rock/metal energy, 'Set the Room Ablaze' kinda makes you wanna run for the nearest venue and throw down in the pit. From start to finish, the song is an absolute feast and to make your ears froth even more, Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo makes an appearance on this seering tune. Holy hell, his part absolutely just punches you in the face with pure excitement.

Vocalist Chris LoPorto reflects how this song also made him just as stoked for the band's newest release:

"'Set the Room Ablaze' is a song I've been trying to write for years. To step away from changing lyrics 100 times, covering my story with metaphors and tricky wordplay, this song is as honest as I can get as a songwriter. We basically wrote it remotely and then recorded it for this album. Recently, we were able to get into a room together and play it for the first time. The excitement and energy made me feel like we were a brand new band again, and I can't wait to play it live live every night on tour."

But wait, there's a new album out this week, too? Yeah! You heard me. 'Set the Room Ablaze' appears off of Can't Swim's new album, Change of Plans via the legends over at Pure Noise Records. Yeahhh boy. You can fucking bet I will be spinning this bangin' new record all weekend. You should too!
