Never ones to show us their true form, Florida/now LA-based trio Set It Off are shedding their skin fully in brand new single 'Skeleton' this week. Brandishing bright, neon-coloured silhouettes throughout the music video, the band are once again poised and ready to show us their constantly evolving upbeat emo-pop personality.

New single 'Skeleton' brings back the band's former rockier side that longtime fans like myself would remember from their early days. Sonically, it shows off Set It Off's musical diversity and how they're always attempting to be as authentic as they can through their music. The absolute talent of a frontman, Cody Carson is unapologetic as hell on this track and explains how important it is to always show his vulnerability:

“It’s so important to me that you know me for who I am, at my core, at my best and at my worst. Being vulnerable shouldn’t come with a rain cloud overhead and it certainly shouldn’t be frowned upon. It should be encouraged. Through life‘s bumps and bruises I’ve learned it’s easier spent stripping away the fear of letting go and saying how you feel, when you feel it. It’s ok to be vulnerable. It’s ok to be a Skeleton.”

For me, 'Skeleton' reminds me of the band's biggest era so far, Duality and that ain't a bad thing. Looking forward to this new chapter boys!
