PROMPTS Introduce Themselves With New Single 'Sun Eater'

Japanese/Korean metalcore act PROMPTS may have been sliding under the radar outside of Asia for a while now but all that is set to change. If their mammoth new single 'Sun Eater' is anything to go by, we have only just scratched the surface.

Signing to Greyscale Records at the end of 2023, the band made it to our shores last month. Whipping Australia into a frenzy supporting The Gloom In The Corner on their Trinity Tour, PROMPTS has kept the momentum going. Not just new music, but also a headline tour of Japan in March with fellow labelmates Annalynn and Japanese experimental metalcore project KNOSIS.

Back to the single though, 'Sun Eater' takes PROMPTS signature blending of genres and turns it up about ten more notches. Keeping you guessing throughout, the fusion of furious metalcore, electronic breaks and samples and stripped-back post-hardcore vocals will leave you gasping for air. Just when you think you know exactly where the song is going, it switches the pace and genres, but in a cohesive manner. Partnered with a dark and equally dynamic music video, 'Sun Eater' is made to be played on repeat.
