PREMIERE: PSTCRDS Are Here And They're Not Faking It!
We reckon pop punk is set to explode come later this year (you heard it here first!) and it all begins with a band from our own shores who are bound to be part of that wave. Newcastle pop punk outfit PSTCRDS are here to tell you to keep it real with their brand new single 'Don't Fake It'. The track is an upbeat, energetic piece fuelled by the balance of living your dreams and reality, a fact I think most of us can relate to these days. Vocalist Steven Reid explains:
"Don't Fake It is about feeling trapped, stressed and as if you’re caught in a big hole or mess that you can’t fix. Even though you’re trying your best to make everything work, it just never seems to come together and never seems to come across how you intend to the people you care about."
The single is the first to come from PSTCRD's forthcoming EP, The Place Or Our Pace out May 1st. If this single is anything to go by, we're thinking this band is going to be your new fave pop punk obsession!
