Mudvayne Shares First Taste of New Material in 16 Years; 'Hurt People Hurt People'

It's been a triumphant return for Mudvayne to the live stage in recent years, and the day fans have really been waiting for - has finally arrived. Overnight Mudvayne have surfaced single 'Hurt People Hurt People'. The industrial nu-metalers resurfaced when frontman Chad Gray stepped away from Hellyeah duties following the tragic passing of Vinnie Paul in 2018. In 2021, Mudvayne kicked off a few U.S. festival shows before blowing up the global circuit shortly after, including an Australian run.

So, shall we keep diving into the history of Mudvayne or just get into NEW MUSIC? 'Hurt People Hurt People' hits perfectly immediately, kicking in with the band's signature bassy thickness. Chad Gray belches the track title on repeat with a bouncy menacing groove torn across sharp drumming. With downtuned heaven ensuing it's a real nod to breakthrough record L.D 50. Fans are going to spin this on repeat all day, rejoicing that Mudvayne are completely back or, not be able to shake similarities between this and White Zombie's 2000 nu-metal hit 'More Human Than Human'.
