Metal Vocalist Auditions For American Idol: The Internet Reacts!
It's the beginning of a new American Idol season in the states and so that means we once again get to witness normal, mainstream society suffering at the hands of the metal musicians who decide to audition for the show. I'm assuming mostly for a laugh.
Judge Katy Perry seems particularly frightened for a person who got her first major breakout touring the Vans Warped Tour in 2008, you know, in a year featuring artists such as Every Time I Die, The Devil Wears Prada, A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, August Burns Red, Evergreen Terrace, From First to Last and many more! One can only assume she walked around with her fingers in her ears the entire time.

Recently a young man named Ethan Fingold, otherwise known as VoKILLz heralding from Buffalo, the same place as Every Time I Die (totally shameless plug) decided to try his hand at applying for American Idol. The results were as you would expect from a show geared towards mainstream American audiences.
Of course, once posted on Idol's Facebook page, the various hot takes started coming in thick and fast. So I have compiled a select few for your viewing pleasure.
