Melbourne Rockers XCalibre Take Inspiration from Netflix Series Cobra Kai in New Single 'No Sensei'

I genuinely dig a song that just reminds me of a tv series or film franchise. Even better when an Australian band feels mega inspired by a pop culture phenomenon to write a song about it. That's exactly what Melbourne hard rock outfit XCalibre did. The band, being huge fans of the nostalgic 80s film series The Karate Kid decided to pen together a song that was inspired by the film's iconic scene and Netflix series spin-off Cobra Kai, and out came their new single, 'No Sensei':

"No Sensei is a track originally inspired by that iconic scene in Karate Kid,  

Fear does not exist in this dojo does it ? No Sensei!

Then while watching Cobra Kai it reminding me about the power in the song and gave me the inspiration to finish the song - or as Sensei John Kreese says - Finish HIM!" 

The track is everything you want a TV series soundtrack to sound like. Inducing hard-hitting riffs, empowering, manipulative lyrics. 'No Sensei' will immediately send you into The Karate Kid/Cobra Kai universe and have you living by the words "Strike Hard, Strike First. No Mercy." In other words, this song has me even more pumped for the series' season 4 return on December 31? Now, if only Netflix could redo the trailer to include XCalibre...
