Mayday Parade Drop New Single 'Lighten Up Kid' + Announce New EP

US pop punk outfit Mayday Parade have just dropped their brand new single 'Lighten Up Kid', the first off of their forthcoming Out of Here EP. The new track sees the band revisit their pop punk roots and is reminiscent of past hits, 'Kids in Love' and 'Anywhere But Here'.

After dropping previous single, 'It is What It Is' (which turns out, was just a once-off single release), 'Lighten Up Kid' is about keeping your cool and remaining calm during heated, stressful situations. It's a super catchy tune though, if you're about the more energetic side of pop punk.
