Loose End Set Sights High On New Single 'Autopilot'

This one's officially my new favourite tune of the week! Melbourne alternative/rock outfit Loose End are back this week with their most dynamic single yet. 'Autopilot' is a stunning blend of punk and metalcore, those diversifying vocal layers straying noy too far from key Aussie heavyweights The Amity Affliction and Trophy Eyes.

Of their new track, frontman Ben Smalley recalls:

“This song is about neglecting your mental wellbeing and not being able to cope with the consequences.

The recording process was a little different for us this time, growing as musicians we got to do a lot of pre-production at home, which has helped a lot with having more time to throw ideas at each other and explore what we can do with this song in greater detail.”

Having experienced these guys live for the first time earlier this year opening for Paperweight, Loose End became one of my favourite new music discoveries and I feel that 'Autopilot' to be the band's biggest release yet. I'm expecting these guys to blow up down the track and cannot wait to hear more!
