Jane's Addiction Make Their Comeback with New Single 'Imminent Redemption'

Jane's Addiction, the original alt-rock band, are back with new single 'Imminent Redemption'. With its bridge refrain, "let's all make a comeback", it's a psychedelic groove that prominently features Eric Avery's bass. The lyrics certainly feel right for a band that is finding itself again.

The veteran quartet is finally back to their original lineup. Joining frontman Perry Farrell and drummer Stephen Perkins is Dave Navarro back on guitar. Navarro missed the last few years of Jane's activity (including their Australian tour with Smashing Pumpkins) as he dealt with the effects of long COVID so it is great to hear him wailing again on the six strings. This is the first Jane's Addiction new release in 34 years to feature Avery, who has been largely estranged from the band since their original run.

They've been playing new material on their recent tours so stand by for more new music in the near future, possibly the as-yet unreleased track 'True Love'.
