It's getting hard to Resist Sydney's Bare Bones!

We love a good metal punk band as much as the next guy and when a new local act gets the spotlight on them AND they're Australian, we can't help but get behind them. Bare Bones of Sydney are on the rise with the news that they've signed to Resist Records and are releasing a new LP called Bad Habits on May 19th.
Think Every Time I Die meets The Bronx and you'd be on the right track for describing these boys but if you'd rather hear them to make up your own mind, they've put out a new single/music video for song 'Thick as Thieves' which has an old school 90's feel to it.
On the back of their signing to Resist, the band revealed their progression was fuelled by bands on the label's roster:
"Each one of us cut our teeth in a scene that was pioneered by punk and hardcore bands under the Resist banner, so in that regard Resist has been held in such high esteem by all of us for more than a decade. Being asked to be part of the Resist family was extremely humbling, and feels like the perfect label for what Bare Bones is about."
For a band who have opened for the likes of ETID, Northlane, Norma Jean and Cancer Bats, you can expect big things on the horizon for the Sydneysiders!
