Is Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister pushing himself too far?

Legendary rockers Motörhead have been doing the rounds for a few years now after front-shredder Lemmy Kilmister's recovery following an operation for a serious heart issue back in 2013, but could the rocker be hitting the stage too early? They performed at Coachella last year and have since toured the world, as well as currently traveling around the US for their 40th Anniversary, however three songs into their Salt Lake City gig, Lemmy had to leave the stage due to health issues before returning to tell fans he "Couldn't Do It", therefore canceling the show and following night's, however they band released a statement on Facebook saying it's only temporary:
"As you might have heard, Motörhead again had to abbreviate a performance due to Lemmy not feeling well. This is a DIRECT follow-on from the altitude issues in Colorado, and clearly, Lemmy tried to get back at it too quickly. For this reason, Motörhead will not play in San Antonio tonight, but the show will still go on with Saxon headlining. Lemmy will resume duties the moment he is PROPERLY rested and firing on all cylinders again. The legendary Motörheadbanger patience is much appreciated, and the band send their deepest thanks. More details will be released soon".
At 69 years old and given his excessive smoking and drinking lifestyle, do you think the man is pushing himself a little too far? The great news is his fans are completely understanding and are urging the aging rocker to rest up and take it easy. Here's hoping he's on the road to recovery and we can enjoy his awesomeness for many more years to come.
Until next time, rock the fuck out
