I Prevail unveil tear-inducing video for 'Hurricane', detailing the struggles in their rise to fame

If the I Prevail boat sailed a long time ago for you, but you've wanted to somehow get on board with the rest of us, then maybe their new video for 'Hurricane' will be the way you do it. The historical look back at their rise to fame (if you will) is detailed from start to now in the clip which includes the struggles they've faced along the way like losing all of their equipment in a bus fire, losing friends and time with family along the way and, most recently, frontman Brian Burkheiser almost losing his voice just as the band gained the traction they'd worked so hard to achieve.
Not gonna lie, a tear or two was shed watching this. We all know how hard it is to be in a band and to get to where these guys (and countless others) are with success, but what we don't see is what happens mentally behind the scenes and this new clip gives us a brief insight to just that. The band's new album Trauma is an exceptional release (our review here), probably one of our favs from the year so far and it showcases a whole range of different styled tracks that the band are keen to show off, but this new single takes us back to the melodic-metal/rock side most of us have grown to love from the band's earlier material.
The video also features the band's recent performances at Download Festival Australia, Brian's first shows with the band in over a year. Take a look then catch up with Dylan Bowman's episode of Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall where he chats all about the new album right here.
