I Prevail Tackle Hard-Hitting Subject Of Gun Violence In 'DOA' Music Video Feat. Joyner Lucas

Last week, I Prevail announced that their forthcoming Australian Tour with Motionless in White and Windwaker has inevitably been postponed to 2021... news we all knew was coming. However, the boys are continuing the hype for their GRAMMY nominated record, Trauma (our review here) by dropping a music video for a new rendition of their banging song 'DOA'. The video features a cameo from US hip hop artist Joyner Lucas and presents a visual commentary on issues throughout the US, including domestic abuse, drug addiction, racism and a hard-hitting focal point on gun violence, which will definitely get people talking across the country (and hopefully the world).

Keep in mind though, this isn't the first video I Prevail have released with sensitive content. Their last music video for 'Gasoline' was a short film on traumatic events in one's life. They're doing a fantastic job with keeping up with their overall album theme of TRAUMA and we here at WoS highly commend the band for taking such a big stance and using their platform for good. This band are the next big thing and this is evidence of that fact coming to life.
