Hear Brisbane's Revoid Go Deeper On 'Cut Me Down'

If you're yet to check out Revoid, now's your chance. These Brissie boys unleashed their latest track 'Cut Me Down' late last year, and it was an exciting blend of melodic riffs and breakdowns that made you wanna throw the fuck down at the next show.

The band are reigniting new passion into the song with a beautifully crafted reimagining of 'Cut Me Down'. Hearing the song completely stripped shines a new light on the band's upcoming potential, as well as also bringing out the song's essence even more with its underlying message about an extremely heavy issue. Vocalist Dale Dudeson shared with us why this track deserved a different level of listening:

"I wanted the song to really hit home on an issue that is often very hard to talk about, from a perspective that some of us figure out far too late. Depression and suicide are tough things to handle in any capacity. Whether you're dealing with the issues yourself, or whether you're the one that's there for someone that is, it's so easy to find yourself hopeless and helpless in the times where you need it the most.

When I play this song, everything becomes very real for me, but that's kind of the point. I know I've felt the way the lyrics describe more often than I'd like, and I know that many other people out there have too. I wrote this song for my own expression, but also for those who will hear it to scream their lungs out to during a rough time, as I have so often done before, and to let people know that in spite of how things may feel or seem, you are loved."

It is an absolutely compelling track to listen to, but if you are triggered at all in any way, please remember there is always someone out there who will lend an ear to listen.
