Hacktivist reemerge with new lineup and song 'Reprogram'

They've been a bit quiet lately, but Hacktivist have reentered the world with a new lineup and a slick and heavy new song for fans to froth over. Firstly, James Hewitt is the band's new guitarist (taking over from Tim 'Timfy James' Beazley who departed in 2018) and he's bloody stoked to be part of the band revealing:

"Having taken a couple of years away from the music industry, I’d started to miss writing music and playing live... and then comes the opportunity to join Hacktivist. Having played some shows together previously, I’d been friends with Josh and Rich for a few years - I think that helped things click very early on in terms of writing. We’re constantly firing ideas back and forth and have plenty of songs finished, and already playing a couple of the new ones live. They’re going down great so I can’t wait to add some more into the set!"

And now the band's first taste of new music comes in the gritty new rap/metal/rock song 'Reprogram' which takes aim at our social media addiction and how fucked the world is for it. It's true, we all know it.

Take a listen and get excited for the next phase of Hacktivist!
